Partner with Us to Build a Gospel Home for the Chinese Community in
Chattanooga

Dear Pastor / Ministry Leader / Brothers and Sisters,

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
My name is Liangzhu Li, and I serve as pastor of the Chinese Christian Church of Chattanooga (CCCC). On behalf of our Deacon Board and congregation, I write to invite you to partner with us in gospel ministry among the growing Chinese-speaking community in our city.

Though officially established in 2003, our roots go back to 1988, when a small group of Chinese believers began gathering for Bible study and prayer. Today, we are the only Chinese Christian church in the greater Chattanooga area. Over the years, the Lord has brought to us students, scholars, families, and professionals from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia—many of whom heard the gospel for the first time and came to Christ through this ministry.

Our vision is simple and deeply rooted in Scripture:

Rooted in Truth. Growing in Grace. Moving Forward in Mission.

We are committed to building a biblically healthy church through expository preaching, intentional discipleship, gospel-centered worship, and Christlike fellowship. In 2024, we joined the Hamilton County Baptist Association and affirmed the Baptist Faith and Message (2000) as our statement of faith.

By God’s grace, our congregation now has over 50 active members. Though small in size, we have a big heart for God’s kingdom. Over the years, we have supported gospel work in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and beyond—reaching unreached people groups such as Pakistanis, Burmese, and Malays. This September, we has sent a missionary into a sensitive region in Asia.

And yet, one thing has remained unchanged:

We have never had a place to call our own.

For over two decades, we have met in borrowed spaces—graciously hosted by churches such as Red Bank Presbyterian, Grace Baptist, New Heights Baptist, and currently White Oak Baptist at 4064 S. Access Road. We are truly grateful. But as our ministry grows and Chattanooga’s Asian population increases, the need for a stable, permanent home has become increasingly urgent.

To meet this need, we established a building fund in 2006. By God’s provision and years of faithful giving from members, former members, and generous friends, we have saved $300,000 toward a permanent facility.

However, the property we are pursuing is estimated to cost about $600,000.

In faith, we launched a new round of internal fundraising on August 31, 2025, and by September 30, our members had pledged—including gifts already given—a total of $130,000. For a church our size, this is a remarkable step of faith and sacrifice.

We are now reaching out to friends and gospel partners beyond our congregation to help close the gap.

We are not simply asking for a donation—we’re inviting you into a gospel partnership.

Your support—through giving, praying, or sharing our story—will help secure a permanent home for gospel ministry and strengthen a faithful, often unseen, gospel presence in our region.
